1. Introduction

Shopper Credibility Score (OPC) Private Limited ("SC Score", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of e-commerce platforms ("Platforms", "you") that use our services.

2. Data We Collect from Platforms

  • Business registration details (GSTIN, company name, address)
  • Contact information (email, phone, authorized personnel)
  • API usage logs and request metadata
  • Order data uploaded via CSV (consumer phone, order details, outcomes)
  • Billing and payment information

3. How We Use Platform Data

  • To provide SC Score API services and checkout verification
  • To calculate and maintain consumer/seller credibility scores
  • To generate billing and usage reports
  • To improve our scoring algorithms and services
  • To detect and prevent fraud in the ecosystem

4. Data Sharing

We aggregate data from multiple platforms to create cross-platform credibility scores. Individual consumer data is never shared between platforms. Only anonymized, aggregated scores are accessible through our API.

5. Data Security

All data is encrypted using AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. API keys are hashed and never stored in plain text. We maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance and conduct regular security audits.

6. Data Retention

Platform account data is retained for the duration of the business relationship plus 7 years for compliance. Order data used for scoring is retained for 5 years. You may request data deletion subject to legal requirements.

7. Platform Responsibilities

Platforms must obtain appropriate consent from consumers before sharing their data with SC Score. Platforms are responsible for the accuracy of uploaded data and must comply with applicable data protection laws.
